ROSS Leaders Lincoln was established in 2020 as the first expansion chapter in our organization. Despite the challenges of COVID-19, community engagement remained a priority for the South Sudanese community. In 2020, Lincoln implemented a weekly after school club at Everett Elementary School serving only 5 students. As Lincoln’s efforts expanded outside of Everett, we experienced a tremendous amount of growth through our programs, which now serve over 45 students. In Lincoln, we are committed to providing year-round programs and events for our students. Throughout the academic year, Lincoln hosts a weekly after-school club, offering homework support, college prep, STEM workshops, and career exploration workshops to empower our students, spark their curiosity, and prepare them for post-secondary education opportunities. During the summer, Lincoln offers a 6-week program with various initiatives to keep our students physically active and engaged in their learning.
