As our team returns from holiday break, excited to embrace the opportunities of the new year, we want to take a moment to thank you - our family, friends, and supporters for all your support throughout the 2023 year! This past year was filled with significant milestones in our journey. We celebrated 5 years of making an impact within our communities, we officially launched our women's athletic program, and we continued to improve and expand our reach and influence at the grassroots level. As we begin 2024, we invite you to join us as we continue investing in our youth, helping them overcome, grow, and rise above all the challenges life presents before them.
Event Highlight: Winter Wonderland Gala
On December 16, 2023, ROSS Leaders Lincoln hosted the 2nd Annual Winter Wonderland Gala. The event was an incredible showcase of South Sudanese culture, featuring cuisines, traditional dances, and a powerful speeches given by community leaders. The pinnacle of the evening was delivered in a message by trailblazer and mental health advocate, Dr. Nyabang Buom. The gala was a beautiful night that allowed us to unite our community, celebrate our rich culture, and share that beauty with local community members, raising awareness of our South Sudanese community in Nebraska.
