ROSS Leaders Fall NewsletterOur success stems from treating a student holistically. By combining robust academic support (Education) with resilience training (Wellness) and a strong sense of self (Culture), we create a highly stable foundation.
After an incredible summer at ROSS Leaders, we’ve picked up where we left off with new programs and chapter developments. We also have an exciting opportunity for you to join or contribute to the fun during our Annual Winter Wonderland Gala as we finish off the year with a bang!
Lincoln Leading the Way!
ROSS Leaders Lincoln has been fully active this fall season. After kicking off programming this past September, we are so proud to share the continual success of our Lincoln Chapter, now hosting over 50 students! This semester, the central focus in our Academic Support programs has been to provide a customized support plan for each of our students. Thanks to our dedicated staff members and volunteers, we have been working to track each student's progress throughout the semester. Our academic mentorship philosophy remains the same: instilling self discipline, academic accountability, and building confidence in each student as they work to achieve their academic goals. One exciting highlight of this semester has been the introduction of music education. The joy and excitement amongst our students as they explore different musical instruments has been incredibly refreshing to see! As our students are learning to play new musical instruments, it not only ignites their creativity, but also sparks new interests and curiosity in a new realm of arts they otherwise would not experience.

Chapter Developments
We are thrilled to unveil our exciting Chapter developments on the horizon this upcoming year. Looking forward to Spring 2024, our Omaha, NE and Manchester, NH branches will be under new leadership, as both locations will have new Chapter Directors who have been building community support and preparing our families and students for the opportunities ROSS Leaders has to offer in the 2024 year!
New Experiences in Nebraska!
After listening to our students’ requests for volleyball, we’re excited to expand our athletic initiatives and begin our volleyball program. This development is yet again our commitment to designing our programs around our students’ interests, offering them a diverse range of programs and experiences they can make their own. Each passing week, the number of students in attendance for our volleyball and basketball training continues to grow! As we dive into the world of volleyball and basketball, we are opening up new outlets for our students to explore their passions and activate their competitive drive. Since day one, sports have served as a pivotal platform where our students have excelled, and together receive over millions of dollars in collegiate scholarship funding. More importantly, the sporting arena has been the driver to build discipline, resilience, and character. These are all life-long qualities that will serve them well beyond the hardwood, the field, or any arena.

Student Highlight: Tiet Yual
This fall, Tiet Yual (Bottom Left) was on a Mock Trial Competition Team in Douglas County Courts in Omaha, Nebraska with support of Nebraska State Bar Foundation. Tiet along with so many youth in our community continue to defy the odds, excelling and achieving in their personal endeavors!
